Last week, I shared my list of reusable items for your kitchen that I either love or are on my wish list.  So today I’m going to share some more reusable things with you, for the rest of your home.

You can easily save quite a lot of money in the long run, by switching to reusable.  After the initial investment, you won’t have to buy the disposables anymore!  And you won’t have to worry about forgetting to buy them at the store because you forgot to put them on your list because you can easily wash and reuse them again and again.

Reusable Grocery Bags

Reusable grocery bags are awesome if you want to avoid plastic bags.  A big plus, also, is they don’t break open and spill your groceries all over if they are loaded with something too heavy. I’ve had this happen to me too many times! Also, some stores give a discount if you bring your own bags, so be sure to ask!

Rechargeable Batteries

Save money on batteries by making the switch to reusable.  They are very reasonably priced considering you can use them over and over.

 Water Bottle with a Filter

Bottled water costs money, but with this water bottle, you can enjoy filtered water for free!

Reusable Lint Roller

Tired of lint and hair sticking to your clothes?  These lint rollers not only will clean it all off, leaving your clothes looking amazing, but you can reuse them repeatedly!

 Reusable Gift Wrap

Do you feel bad throwing all the wrapping paper in the trash?  Now you can reuse your gift wrap over and over!

Reusable Zip Ties

These zip ties can be released and used again that way you don’t have to buy new ones each time you need them.  They are especially handy for keeping cords under control in areas such as your desk and entertainment center.

Permanent Air Filter

Wash and reuse this permanent air filter over and over, instead of buying a new disposable one each time it needs changed.

 Dryer Balls

Aren’t these cute?  Dryer balls come in many cute designs and colors and are an excellent replacement for dryer sheets.  You can also make your own wool dryer balls, if you would rather do it yourself.

 Reusable Twist Ties

I didn’t realize these even existed til today, but they look like a neat idea.  They come in many different sizes and colors and look like they would be very handy for closing up bags of food and organizing.

Vacuum without Filters and Bags to Change

The HYLA vacuum cleans and filters using a water system and it doesn’t use disposable filters and bags.  I love the fact that I only have to wash the container out and I save money by not having to buy filters and bags.

Reusable Mop Pads

These mop pads work well on Swiffer mops.  No more need to buy new mop pads, just wash and reuse them!

Reusable Duster Refills

These fit on the Swiffer duster wands and can be washed and reused.

Washable Puppy Pads

If you have a puppy you are house training, these puppy pads would be perfect!  If necessary, just wash and use them again.

I hope you enjoyed this list and found something new!  Have you made the switch from disposables to reusables in your home yet?

  1. Lots of great items, some things I have dryer balls and shopping bags, but quite a few I didn’t. I’m always looking for ways to reduce garbage and reuse things. Thank you!!
